Chickasaw Inkana Foundation CEO Brady Davis will provide a presentation on the Chickasaw Heritage Center, which is currently under construction on the Natchez Trace Parkway. His presentation will include a brief history of the Chickasaw people in the region and background information as to how the Chickasaw Heritage Center came to fruition here in the historic Homeland of the Chickasaw people.

Brady Davis began working for the Chickasaw Nation in 2012. Stationed in Tupelo, Mississippi, the heart of the historic Homeland, Mr. Davis began his career with the nation as the historic site manager of Chisha’Talla’a’ (Postoak Grove), and was promoted to Homeland Affairs manager in 2014 and then director in 2016. In 2019 Brady was appointed executive officer and CEO of the Chickasaw Inkana Foundation, whose mission is to preserve, protect and interpret the history and culture of the Chickasaw people in the historic Homeland. The foundation is currently leading the fundraising and construction effort to complete the Chickasaw Heritage Center which will be located on the Natchez Trace Parkway in Tupelo. He is also heavily involved in the Heritage Center exhibit design and content development. Mr. Davis holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Anthropology from Middle Tennessee State University and a Master’s of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Southern Mississippi. Mr. Davis is a two-time finalist of the Tupelo Daily Journal’s top 40 under 40 civic and business leaders. He serves on the boards of the Link Centre, Mississippi Hills Heritage Area Alliance, Boys and Girls Club of Mississippi, Heale Counseling and Natchez Trace Parkway Association among others, and is also an active member in his local Rotary International chapter. Brady lives in downtown Tupelo, Mississippi with his wife Cristina, an educator, and their two children.
