This year’s Tupelo Reads lecture will feature attorney, singer/songwriter and author, Allen Levi, presenting his book, Theo of Golden. Theo of Golden tells the story of a mysterious stranger, Theo, who shows up in a fictional southern city, Golden, Georgia. He begins to find joy by performing acts of kindness and love and begins to find meaning to life. The book explores themes of kindness, wonder, community, and the power of small, intentional acts to create meaning and connection. 

Tupelo Reads will take place on Tuesday, February 24 beginning at 12:00 noon in the Lee County Library. At 11:30 there is a light lunch available for purchase at $10.00. All proceeds support the Friends of the Lee County Library and library activities.
