Meeting Space

The Lee County Library has two meeting rooms which are available for use by organizations engaged in educational, cultural, or charitable activities. We welcome community groups and others to use these spaces for meetings and gatherings on a first come, first served basis. Library meeting space is not intended to support commercial activity, i.e. selling products, insurance policies, or other goods and services. Library-related activities, such as internal meetings or events that are sponsored or co-sponsored by the library, take priority.

The Helen Foster Auditorium

The Helen Foster Auditorium has a maximum legal capacity of 205 individuals with seats only and a capacity of 100 individuals with tables. A small kitchenette with a stove and refrigerator adjoins the auditorium and may be used by groups who have reserved the auditorium. Room arrangement is the responsibility of the organization reserving the room. At the conclusion of the event, chairs should be reset in row style. Any tables or chairs removed from storage should be returned to their original place.

Sue Garmon Conference Room

The Sue Garmon Conference Room has a conference table with space for ten chairs, and additional seating around the room. No food or drink is permitted in the conference room.
